Cake? Yes.

I adore these cakes I found at PinkCakeBox.com.. a place in New Jersey.

I thought that there was no way I could possibly find a cake like this without going out of state and paying atleast $800.00. But I was wrong.

Yesterday I stumbled upon a locally owned bakery that specializes in wedding cakes.. And the price? MORE than affordable.. I am so happy.. The below images aren't what our cake will look like.. just a few images of her work.. Ours will most likely be like the cakes from the store in New Jersey... I want the cream colored icing with brown grosgrain ribbon at the bottom.. Not sure on the topper yet.. any suggestions?

It Is!!!

Here are a few ideas I found and adore and absolutely plan on using.
First of all our favorite time of year is the fall.. so October is perfect. And what is more romantic and cozy than candlelight on a cold fall evening? I am planning on a candle lit ceremony..
Notice the candles all around? Even on the floor.. I love it..


Sweet chardonnay and warm red wine.

The ceremony and reception will take place in the same room. Therefore, I will be using place settings for the guest. I love the idea of the oranges for place settings. I also plan on using small pumpkins and maybe apples.

A cozy fireplace mantel. The place I've selected has a fireplace. If I can't use it for a fire I like the idea of filling it with personalized pumpkins and candles.

Just some decorations.. I love the simplicity and warmth of the candles in the Mason jars.. delicately tied with a sweet ribbon..

Cranberry Champagne= yum and definitely!

Talking to a friend of mine at work today about a few wedding ideas I have.. One of which was to buy each of our girls a silver locket.. She suggested I go to Things Remembered.
I found esactly what I was looking for..




While browsing, I found these.. The Park Avenue collection.... These little beauties I feel are a must! And I love that they can be engraved as well...




These are the Mr. and Mrs. flutes she bought for a very lucky friend of hers.. Aren't they darling?
